Jay Reatard gets the band back together...

According to NME, Jay Retard has gotten his band back together with a new rhythm section.

Bassist Anders Thode and drummer Jacob Elving hail from Denmark, and pull together some really Reatard-esque rock in the band Cola Freaks.

The news of Reatard's band breakup came via Twitter when Jay eloquently tweeted, "Band quit ! Fuck them ! They are boring rich kids who can't play for ahit anyways .. Say hello to your ugly and boring wifes opps I mean lifes guys suck it" [sic sic sic]
