MP3: Seven Saturdays- "A Beautiful Day"

Gear up for some seriously hypnotic instrumental rock from Seven Saturdays.

The mastermind is this project is Jonathan Haskell, and with music this lush, you'd figure this guy's name would get around more. I'm not even familiar with his previous project, Firs. Shame on me, I suppose.

On first listen, this track hit me like early Mogwai with a touch of Explosions in the sky. The orchestration feels calculated and straightforward, but there's a plethora of emotion in the layered melodies.

The release date for a self-titled EP is yet to come out, but dream to this track in the meantime:
